Bio
Chantelle Ferguson has a deep appreciation for the simplicity of practicing yoga. She loves that with just a mat on the floor, she can exercise her body and gain mental tranquility.
She believes that individuals should be able practice yoga as part of health and development rather than having to conform to imposed ideologies. She approaches yoga instruction without strict hierarchies, rigid conventions, or judgement.
Her classes are designed for people of all abilities and combine movement, static poses, stretching, and breathing exercises. She has specialty yoga teacher training in meditation and breathing, teaching to wheel-chair users, working with athletes, trauma-sensitive yoga, and yoga for addiction recovery.
